It is so very important to take a proactive approach to protecting our athletes from injury before it happens!! I feel all sports that are played without head protection, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, girl's lacrosse, baseball, iceskating, etc, is just waiting for a head injury to occur. I would love to try and mandate head protection, just like mouth pieces and cups for boys. I am trying my best to advocate this but legistration is hard to fight. We must take action into our own hands and try to protect our athletes the best we can. Please consider the Forcefield headband and wrist/ankle guards and take a proactive approach to our athlete's good health. PLAY HARD, BUT PLAY SAFE

The National Athletic Trainers' Association reports that about 43,000 and 67,000 concussions occur among high school football players each year.
